Crazy Giving

According to Arthur Brooks, author of "Who Really Cares?" the working poor give the most (in percentage of income) to charitable organizations, the rich come in second (hey, that's not right) and lastly the middle class.

I can understand how the middle class would be last more than I can grasp that the working poor in the United States give more to charity than the rich.

Wow! How many people would be surprised to here this? Are you?
